Some great advice from King Square PT @wellstrongwa
Q. Why should have Farmer's Walks in your strength training program?
A. It works your back/shoulders/arms/core/legs/lungs all at once. It's basically a walking deadlift so it engages all the major muscles groups to work as one to maintain correct form and to keep your balance. It is an exercise of pure strength that has huge crossovers from gym to real life movement. It is one of the most functional and taxing exercise you can have in your program. Do it with farmers frames, kettle bells, dumbbells, barbells, heavy bags and the list goes on.
In this video I am doing 5x5 trap bar farmer's walks @ 130kg over 2 x 20m walks.
